Urban Stay Salzburg City reviews

Today is the last day of the Salzburg Music Festival, so hotels have been very expensive for the past three days.
I finally found a cheap hotel and made a reservation, but there weren’t many Korean reviews, so I’m posting this.

It’s about a 10-minute walk or one bus ride from the station.
There are many buses that go to central tourist attractions.

There is no elevator, and they contacted me by email 2 days ago and told me how to check in. If I enter my password at the entrance, the room key comes out like a vending machine.
When you enter, there is no hotel lobby like you would normally expect, and there is a small desk at the entrance of the stairs instead.
It looks like they have staff from 9-6.
There is no breakfast, but there is a bagel cafe next to the hotel, so you can get a 10% discount if you tell them the hotel name.
The Google rating there is really good, the bagel sandwiches are really good, and the coffee is so-so.
Recommended for those who like a hearty breakfast.

The condition of the room – old furniture and old red carpet on the floor – it was much darker than the atmosphere on the homepage, so it had a bit of a dungeon-like atmosphere.
I booked a double room, but there were two single beds next to each other, and the mattress heights of the two beds didn’t match, so I slept well apart from my husband.
Coffee pot, cups, tea bags, air conditioner, mini refrigerator, telephone.
No slippers or anything like that.
There is just a bed, console, TV, dresser, sofa, and fan (long standing fan).
The bedding is reasonably clean.
My husband said it was a typical old European hotel.
I stayed for 2 nights, but the bedding was made up, new towels were made, and the trash can was emptied, but they didn’t even give me an all-in-one shampoo.
And there was a dirty mop left under the TV (I’m not sure if I forgot to take it or just left it there because I didn’t have a tip).

Shower room condition – feels like a plastic prefabricated toilet.
It’s clean, but the water in the shower booth drains slowly (I think it’s a plumbing issue because it’s an old building). You have to adjust the hot and cold water separately, and hot water takes some time, but anyway, the water pressure is strong and the water comes out well.
There are two small all-in-one 10cc containers, and there are no other disposable items, cups, soap, etc.
Towels include one large shower towel and one foot towel per person.
There is a hair dryer with two levels of hot air.

It was right next to the bus route, so it was noisy until 3 am.
If you sleep with the window closed outside of summer, there won’t be any problem.

Recommendation – People who don’t spend a lot of money on accommodation like my wife, people who are used to Ibis class hotels, and backpackers who are tired of staying in hostels.

Recommendation – People who decided to go on a trip with a couple, or people who came on a filial piety trip with their parents and are looking for a hotel to stay in – I think they will be criticized for the rest of their lives.

Then have a safe trip.
