I stayed 2 nights in Stavanger, 2 nights in Ota, and 3 nights in Bergen.
1. Stavanger: Radisson Blu Hotel
Perfect location if you are going to Preikestolen, right next to the bus stop.
You can board the bus at the hotel’s main gate.
It’s such a small city that it doesn’t really matter where the hotel is located.
If you are traveling on your own, I recommend Radisson Blu.
It is clean, well maintained and the staff is very friendly.
2. Ota: Hardanger Hotel
There are very few hotels to choose from when traveling to Trolltunga.
Location is so good.
It’s right in front of the bus stop.
Management is very good.
The staff is also friendly.
The room was spacious, but the soundproofing was poor and the interior facilities were really old.
You must carry your suitcase up the stairs.
3. Bergen: Scandic Jörnen Hotel.
Close to train and bus stations.
20 minutes walk to downtown.
There is a large shopping center across the street from the hotel.
Very pretty hotel.
Breakfast was delicious.
The location is a bit ambiguous, so it’s a good hotel if you decide based on your schedule.
One employee was a bit distracted…
