Report on Booking.com discount fraud


On the Booking.com reservation site, the original price is clearly marked with a diagonal line and the discount is displayed and in red letters on the payment screen – I made the payment even though the discount amount was marked as a discount promotion at Booking.com’s expense, but the credit card payment was made with the original amount without the discount, so no matter how many times I called, they kept calling. No call (attempted to call dozens of times).
So, I sent a message and email saying that I had clearly seen the discount sign and asked what was not on discount. I received a reply saying that if I took a screenshot of the discount sign and posted it, they would check it and make a decision. That was totally gutsy!
I’ve already reserved and paid for the room, so I can’t see it on the reservation site anymore. I’m wondering how I can take a screenshot, and I wonder who takes a screenshot in advance because they expect someone to make a fraudulent payment with an undiscounted amount, so I won’t do it without a screenshot. I copied and pasted the price by dragging the mouse in advance to refer to the payment details, but even if I sent it to them, they said they wouldn’t give me a discount (refund) unless I took a screenshot… I called customer service several times, but it didn’t work!
I sent a message so many times that I got a call, but the customer service representative just said there was nothing he could do and hung up.
Even after sending countless emails and messages with the copied payment details, I got the same response… I made reservations for three places in Paris, Switzerland, and Frankfurt, but except for the one where I couldn’t cancel, I canceled, changed, and switched to Agoda…
