10/10 Current status of water activities in Cinque Terre

The highest daytime temperature dropped to about 27 degrees, so I didn’t know what it would be like to play in the water, so I prepared, but I didn’t have high expectations.

I heard that Monterosso, the last village among the five villages of Cinque Terre, has its own beach with parasols and sunbeds, so I went straight there.

I started from Florence, went to La Spezia and Monterosso, and then came back.

When I arrived at Monterosso around lunch time, it was cloudy and cool and there were few people playing in the water, so I thought it must have entered the off-season.

As the sun shines in the afternoon and the day gets hotterThe number of people sunbathing and playing in the water at the beach is increasing.

As I was sightseeing and eating, time passed faster than I thought.

I decided to just dip my feet, spread out the mat for a while, dipped my feet in the sea water, took a few pictures, and unfortunately came back.

The water was cold, but I think I could go in and play.

There don’t seem to be many people playing in the water in the photo.

There were more people behind me, and as expected, there were a lot of people getting tanned.

If you want to go swimming in the Cinque Terre this week, you may be able to do so during the middle of the day, so it would be a good idea to come prepared.

Parasols and sunbeds can be rented for a fee, and there is no cost to simply lay down a mat or towel on the sand.

There are many cases where you wear a swimsuit under a one-piece suit, take off your outerwear on the spot, go into the water, dry off, and then put on your clothes again.

It was a very comfortable atmosphere, with people wearing beach towels or scarves around their waists and quickly changing clothes.

My concern was whether my belongings would be okay when I left my belongings on the mat and went into the sea, but no one seemed to care much.

Well, I heard that you have to watch out for pickpockets when there are a lot of tourists, but it seemed peaceful, perhaps because it was a bit off-season.

(This is my personal opinion, so you still have to be careful.

)ah!Monterosso was shallow enough for swimming, but Mananola seemed deep.

As soon as you enter Monterosso, you will feel like the East Sea of Korea.

It went down a bit and the water came up to my waist.

Mananola is much deeper, so there were people diving from the rocks, but if you are not confident in swimming, Monterosso would be better.

I didn’t see any life jackets or tubes.

The sand is not fine, so bare feet may be a little sore.

I think it would be helpful to have slippers or sandals.

And there were a lot of flies and mosquitoes.

If you have mosquito repellent, it would be a good idea to bring along some medicine for insect bites.

If you booked the train back to Florence in advance, you would have plenty of time.

You must return to La Spezia.

I was mesmerized and hurried to the end out of fear of being late.

I got a lot of information from my wanderings.

I hope it helps tooHave fun traveling everyone.
