Hotel Name (Rating): Act Hotel Roppongi (3-star)
Location: Roppongi, Tokyo
Distance from the station: Approximately a 3-minute walk from the exit
Recommended score: ★★★★★
Accommodation type: Double bed
Accommodation cost: 2 nights for 2 adults from Friday to Sunday
Reservation made through: Agoda
Breakfast included: Not available
Ambience: Quiet and pleasant
Overall satisfaction: I am fully satisfied with the hotel considering its price. The location is incredibly convenient as it is very close to the station. Moreover, there are additional benefits such as Meidi-Ya Roppongi Store and discount supermarkets nearby, which enhance the overall experience. However, please note that the Seijo Supermarket at Roppongi Hills is a bit expensive. It would be better to check the operating hours of Meidi-Ya and go shopping there if needed.
There are two convenience stores nearby, Lawson and Family Mart. The amenity provided by the hotel, DHC, is of good quality. However, please be aware that the hotel does not provide standard items like toothbrushes and slippers in the room. You will need to pick them up at the lobby on the 1st floor. You can also take other items such as tea from the same area. Towels are replenished once per night, and if you hang the “do not disturb” sign, the staff will put new towels in a bag and hang them on the doorknob.
The room has a window that can be opened for ventilation, but there is no view of the outside. The TV and Wi-Fi are available, and the Wi-Fi password can be found by tuning into the TV. The Wi-Fi is fast, unlike the Softbank SIM card I purchased in Korea, which was very slow and frustrating.
Although the room size is small, the hotel provides everything you need for a comfortable stay.
Note: Accommodation cost in KRW or JPY should be converted to USD.
