Overall Satisfaction: I found this hotel as I was looking for a place that allows easy access to both Haneda Airport and Ueno without any transfers. Initially, I made a reservation for a one-night stay on January 23rd, but when my travel plans changed and I had an extra day, I added a reservation for January 20th as well. Originally, I was considering a hotel near Ueno Station for the January 20th stay, but I was delighted to discover that the Daiwa Roynet Hotel could store my luggage for a few days, so I decided to book the same hotel for January 20th as well. This aspect of the hotel was the most satisfying for me.
After spending two days in Katsushika, I returned to the hotel for a second stay and when I checked in, my luggage was already in the room, which was very convenient. Additionally, the lobby provided bath additives, which was a nice touch, and I liked that the Komeda Coffee shop was on the second floor of the hotel building, with a 7-Eleven convenience store located on the ground floor.
Furthermore, the hotel’s surroundings are in an office area, so it was quiet and the sidewalks were spacious and clean. This made it easy to move around with my luggage and my friend and I were satisfied with this aspect.
Regarding the accommodations, I stayed in a Superior Double Non-Smoking room on January 20th. Personally, I found it even better than the twin room. There was enough space to unfold my luggage, which was convenient. I also found the office chair to be very comfortable, and I kept wanting to sit on it.
On January 23rd, I stayed in a Standard Twin room.
