Overall Satisfaction: Room: The hotel was much larger than anticipated. While the elevators showed some signs of age, the staff were all friendly, and the overall atmosphere was delightful. Although the hotel was not extremely close to Shinjuku Station, it was actually beneficial as the surrounding area was quiet. The room was well-heated, providing warmth during the stay. However, as the room did not have floor heating, it could get a little dry. The room I stayed in comfortably accommodated two people with open suitcases. It also had a table, making it convenient for snacking. Despite hearing that the rooms had poor soundproofing, I did not experience any disturbances as the surrounding guests were quiet. The outside view, especially the city lights, was beautiful.
Breakfast: There were two breakfast options, and I chose the buffet-style restaurant for all four days. The variety of food served made for a satisfying breakfast. Particularly, the omelets and udon noodles made on the spot were delicious. Please note that an additional fee of 4,000 JPY ($36 USD) per person is required for breakfast.
Limousine Bus: I utilized the limousine bus as a means of transportation, which conveniently dropped off and picked up guests in front of the hotel. It took approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes to travel from Narita Airport to the hotel. On the return journey from the hotel to Narita Airport, it took approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes, as there were multiple stops along the way. The bus tickets were purchased in advance from Korea, costing 40,000 KRW ($35 USD) per person for a round trip. Inside the bus, facilities such as phone charging and toilets were available, which was convenient. Moreover, not having to lug around heavy luggage was a welcome relief. When checking out, simply show the bus timetable, and the hotel will store your luggage until it’s time to depart.
