Overall Satisfaction: I booked a Disneyland hotel as I planned to visit both Disneyland and DisneySea. Since I’m not particularly fond of attractions, I only rode “Beauty and the Beast” at the Land before getting tired and returned to the hotel for some rest. In the evening, I went out again. The next day, I checked out, left my luggage, and rode “Soaring” and “Toy Story” at DisneySea. I stayed at the hotel for a while, then went out again around 4 PM, took a taxi, and moved to the next accommodation. It was a shame that I couldn’t see “Believe” at DisneySea… As someone who doesn’t enjoy attractions much, I found Disney to be better than Universal Studios. I hope to stay at Disneyland for two nights next time, so I can comfortably visit both Disneyland and DisneySea.
Based on your stay at the Disneyland Hotel, located conveniently across from Disneyland, I understand that you wanted to make the most of your visit to both Disneyland and DisneySea. While you mentioned that you are not particularly fond of attractions, there are still plenty of enjoyable activities and attractions in the vicinity that I would recommend.
One option worth considering is to take a stroll to the nearby Ikspiari complex. This shopping and entertainment district, inspired by Downtown Disney in California, offers a wide range of shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues. Whether you are in the mood for some retail therapy, a delicious meal, or catching a movie, Ikspiari is sure to have something to cater to your interests.
If you are looking to explore more of the surrounding area, a visit to Kasai Rinkai Park could be a great option. Located just a short distance away, this spacious park with beautiful greenery provides a relaxing environment away from the bustle of the theme parks. Enjoy a leisurely walk along the waterfront, visit the bird sanctuary, or take a ride on the Ferris wheel for panoramic views of Tokyo Bay.
For those interested in Japanese culture, a visit to the nearby Kasai Shrine could be a worthwhile experience. This historical Shinto shrine, nestled within the park, offers a serene and spiritual ambiance. Take a moment to offer your prayers and immerse yourself in the peaceful atmosphere, surrounded by lush greenery.
If you are interested in exploring beyond the immediate vicinity, Tokyo Disneyland and DisneySea are both part of the wider Tokyo Disney Resort. This resort also includes the Tokyo Disneyland Hotel and several other Disney-themed accommodation options. Consider exploring the resort further and taking advantage of the various dining, shopping, and entertainment offerings available.
In conclusion, although your focus may not be on attractions, there are still several noteworthy places to visit during your stay at the Disneyland Hotel. Take a leisurely stroll around the Ikspiari complex to indulge in shopping, dining, and entertainment. For a tranquil experience, venture to Kasai Rinkai Park and Kasai Shrine, both offering a serene ambiance. Lastly, remember to explore the various offerings within the wider Tokyo Disney Resort. With these recommendations, I hope you can have an enjoyable and well-rounded experience during your stay at the Disneyland Hotel.
