Every time I go to Rome, I always stay near Termini Station, but this time I stayed for two nights at the Best Western President, which is 2 metro stops away.
Since I mainly travel alone, I stayed in single rooms, so I think it would be helpful for people similar to me to use this information as a reference.
*Location: Manzoni Station, 2 stops from Termini on Metro Line A.
You don’t have to worry about carrying heavy luggage because it’s a hotel right away.
There are many buses to Termini nearby (about 10 minutes by bus), and there are three bus stops and the Colosseum within walking distance, so I went to Borghese in one go.
I liked this place because Rome itself allows you to hop on a mat and go somewhere on foot.
It was possible to access major tourist attractions without transferring.
I have been to Rome several times, but I am very satisfied in terms of cost-effectiveness and convenience of travel.
*Stay period: 2023.1.12~1.15
*Price: Around 100,000 won per night (I booked through Hotels.com for rewards, but Agoda was a little cheaper.)
*Amenities and surroundings: Reasonable facilities that are almost similar to regular rooms at Best Worth and are equipped with only essential amenities.
A refrigerator, electric kettle, and simple tea are all provided.
The shower booth in the bathroom is relatively spacious.
All supplies except toothpaste were provided.
Even shower caps and cotton swabs.
Dryer output is also good~
It’s quiet and clean around the hotel, and there’s a small private mini-mart and Carpe Express.
There was a pizza place that offered simple take-out, and best of all, there was a Chinese restaurant, so it was good to pack something like fried rice for about 4 to 5 euros and eat it at the hotel.
Since it was the off-season, I think it would have been relatively cheap and quiet.
