Surrounding Atmosphere: Very close to Tokyo Station, but not in the bustling area. There are many buildings undergoing construction in the vicinity.
Overall Satisfaction: The hotel offers convenient transportation and the advantage of a free public bath. However, one downside is that the connecting super room, consisting of two triple rooms, is quite cramped with very limited space. Super Hotel Premier Tokyo Station Yaesu Juoguchi can be found near Tokyo Station, making it very convenient for transportation. It is centrally located in Tokyo Station, providing easy access to buses, subways, and trains. The hotel’s proximity to Nihonbashi and Yurakucho stations allowed us to walk frequently. The convenience of transportation is exceptional.
The hotel is located in a position visible from the central exit of Tokyo Station, though it may not be visible now due to the newly built Midtown building in front. Nonetheless, you can still understand how close it is. Using Google Maps Live View while searching for the hotel was both convenient and fascinating.
This hotel does not have individual keys, but instead, each room has a door lock that requires a password provided during check-in. As for the connecting rooms, we were given two separate room numbers. The layout consists of two triple rooms connected, with one single bed on top of a double bed. As the third hotel we stayed in after Hilton Tokyo Bay and Tokyo Bay Hotel, it was the smallest. It felt more like a dormitory than a hotel or even an apartment. It was manageable for our young children, but it may be a bit challenging for four adults. The separate spaces and two bathrooms were advantageous. We had to block one entrance of the room to unfold our large suitcases. The view wasn’t particularly important, but I happened to make eye contact with someone in the office building across when I opened the window in the morning.
By the way, there is a place next to the lobby where you can take a pillow according to your preference, choosing the height of the latex pillow.
On the second and third floors, there are separate public baths for men and women. It is an artificial hot spring heated by gas, called ion water. We melted away our fatigue by soaking in the warm bath every morning and evening. Despite walking around 20,000 steps a day with our children, there was no need for rest time as we were revitalized after visiting here. We couldn’t stay in a traditional Japanese-style room, so having the public bath was fantastic. Unfortunately, there was no hairdryer in the bathroom, so we roughly dried our hair with towels and used the hairdryer in the room. The bathroom water was ion water, and although it was drinkable, we still used the water purifier. There were water purifiers, vending machines, and coin-operated laundry machines on each floor. The coffee machine and liquor vending machine were only available on specific floors, so we took the time to visit and use them.
I heard that Super Hotel is a chain. There are pros and cons, but overall, it was a pleasant stay, leading me to write this review.
