Overall Satisfaction: For light sleepers, I wouldn’t recommend it as the accommodation can be a bit noisy. Although it is clean and all you need is a place to sleep, there are minor noises that may disturb your sleep. With multiple guests in one room, different alarm times and shower schedules can lead to people moving around and alarms going off intermittently. However, earplugs are provided, so you can use them or consider using noise-canceling headphones to help. Personally, as someone accustomed to living in shared spaces, I use headphones while sleeping, so it wasn’t a big issue for me.
Although there were a few instances where someone’s food caused a slight odor within the capsule, the air purifier worked well, and overall, the smell was not too strong. Moreover, the toilets and shower facilities inside the capsules were kept clean and tidy, making my stay highly satisfying.
I usually stay at hotels just to sleep, as I prefer spending more on long-term trips rather than accommodation. That’s why a capsule hotel is the perfect option for me. You can securely store your luggage and shoes in the lockers outside the sleeping areas. Plus, during shower time, you can bring all your toiletries in the provided basket and take the elevator downstairs.
The hostel has separate floors for males and females, and with individual elevator access, safety and security were not a concern. The key cards for the room and lockers, as well as CCTV cameras, provided additional peace of mind.
The lobby on the 8th floor offers a fantastic view, making it a great spot to enjoy a cup of coffee and some bread in the morning. If you are a light sleeper or seeking a romantic getaway, this place may not be ideal for you. However, for individuals like myself, I highly recommend it.
Total Cost: The accommodation cost for 3 nights is $1,200 after cashback.
Note: The mentions of Korean currency (KRW) or Japanese yen (JPY) have been converted to USD for convenience.
