I was highly satisfied with this hotel as it offered a great location for exploring Asakusa. The captivating view of the Skytree and Sensoji Temple from the hotel was the deciding factor for me. Although the breakfast options were not extensive, they were sufficient for a satisfying meal.
There were convenience stores nearby, with Don Quijote and Imahan, the famous international branch of Imahan Sukiyaki restaurant, just a short walk away. One minor downside was that I mistakenly assumed there was a train station right in front of the hotel, but Asakusa Station is actually for Tsukuba Express. To use regular train lines, I found that Dawai-Machi Station was closer. Nonetheless, it was convenient to travel to Ginza and Shibuya using the Ginza Line. Overall, it was a great place to stay for a day or two. I had heard that moving between accommodations within Tokyo can be time-consuming, so for my 4-night, 5-day trip, I chose to stay here for the first day and then moved to Shinjuku, taking transportation into consideration. It turned out to be a satisfying choice.
The morning view and the sight of the heavily clouded sky just before checking out were truly captivating. I would have been disappointed if I had stayed in a room with a view of the Skytree but couldn’t see it. The Skytree, Sensoji Temple, and the distant golden clouds of the Asahi headquarters blended together beautifully.
