I arrived in London yesterday^^
I’ll just leave some information and I have something unpleasant to say.
The hotel lobby is small, so is this a hotel that costs over a million won per night?
I checked in with that intention, but the room was on the first floor. It was too noisy and the view outside the window was frustrating.
I talked to them and changed my room to the 3rd floor, and it had a view of the Canadian Embassy.
The minibar is free and the room is comfortable.
It’s a Nelson room, and we have four trunks, so I’m satisfied except that it’s a bit narrow to unpack our luggage. The location is also great.
I went out for a walk for a while, but it was different from what I had intended.
From Covent Garden to Soho Piccadilly Circus…
In the afternoon, my little boy said his leg was so sore that he wanted to rest.
He was sleeping at the hotel, and we went out to see something nearby. When we came back, he said he was sleeping.
They said someone opened the door and came in and then left.
However, the person who came in was the female employee who helped me check in. I was upset (actually, I was sensitive because there was a minor loss at the Paris Hotel…) so I went down and asked another employee why she came in, but she couldn’t answer and said she would look into it, and even a manager came over. They were talking amongst themselves and saying it seemed like it was turndown service… Why is the desk staff providing turndown service… I wasn’t fluent in English so I was so tired so I just said I understood, but I felt uncomfortable all night. Plus, the room was connected to the next room, so people in the next room were there. I wonder why the conversation sounds so good as if they were talking right next to me until late at night ㅠㅠ
But I’m already tired of complaining about my poor English…
