Review of Almont Hotel Nippori:
I made a reservation for Almont Hotel Nippori when there were very few reviews about both the airline and the hotel, so I was quite worried. However, some reviews were posted before departure, which turned out to be a great help. As a beginner, I would like to share a brief review haha.
It took about 30 minutes to get to the hotel by taking the Skyliner from the airport. After exiting from the south exit of Nippori Station and going down the left stairs, you will find the hotel direction just about 5 minutes away. There is a drugstore right in front of the station, and a supermarket across the street, which was convenient for purchasing items. The supermarket is called MARUMAN Store Nippori according to Google Maps and it operates until 1 am!
There are some small but nice places to visit nearby, such as McDonald’s, Mos Burger, Tully’s Coffee, and Dotoru. Family Mart is found on almost every block haha.
The hotel room was not as small as some other reviews mentioned. The soundproofing and heating were really good, and there was even an air purifier and a humidifier. The large public bath was not open 24 hours, but it operated from 4:00 PM to 1:00 AM and from 5:30 AM to 9:00 AM. Although the interior wasn’t very spacious, it was perfect for relaxing and relieving daily fatigue. The water pressure was good and everything was kept clean.
All guest rooms are non-smoking, and there is a separate smoking area on one floor.
Since my dad snores, we couldn’t sleep together haha. We made reservations for two rooms with breakfast included for one adult. Children up to 6 years old had free breakfast and free accommodation. The cost for two rooms for two nights was around USD 300, which was quite reasonable. They even gave us a cute welcome gift for the kids haha.
During check-in, a Japanese staff member who spoke Korean well was so kind and tried to explain everything to us in Korean, which was impressive. I bought cookies to give as a gift the next day, but another staff member replaced them, so I was a bit disappointed. Nevertheless, all the other staff members were also very friendly, and the staff member on the next day spoke English well.
Breakfast started at 6:30 AM, and there were already many people having their meals early. It was a Japanese-style breakfast with desserts, and there were some simple pastries as well, so it was a good start to the day. During our stay, when we didn’t request room cleaning, they emptied the trash can in the morning and refilled the towels, bathrobes, and disposable items.
Since our itinerary was short, we only used the JR Yamanote Line for transportation, and it was not difficult to buy tickets each time. We even walked from Ginja to Yurakucho Station and then took the JR Line back to the hotel haha.
My husband said that if the hotel becomes well-known, it will gain popularity. It seems to be a very reasonable place. The Tokyo weather was cool and refreshing. Have a pleasant trip to those who are about to embark on their journey! 🧡

Another interesting attraction in the area is the Nezu Shrine. This beautiful shrine is known for its vibrant red torii gates and tranquil garden. Visitors can enjoy a peaceful walk through the grounds, admire the stunning architecture, and even participate in traditional ceremonies if they are lucky.

It’s like stepping back in time and experiencing the old charm of Tokyo.
For nature lovers, Ueno Park is a fantastic choice. This expansive park offers a peaceful retreat with beautiful gardens, serene ponds, and ancient temples. It’s also home to several museums, including the Tokyo National Museum, where you can explore Japanese art and artifacts.
