I stayed for 4 days and 3 nights from October 26th to October 29th for 960 euros for 3 people including breakfast.
It was clean and the room wasn’t that big. There were 3 single beds side by side, they were cleaned every day and the bathroom was big.
It is located right in front of the liquor square in downtown Madrid.
At the airport, I took 5 suitcases (3 28-inch, 20-inch? 2 carry-on bags), tennis bag – 2 large bags, I thought I was going to die.
Isn’t the room too small to fit all this in?
Winter clothes, kimchi, food emergency medicine, electric rice cooker, ramen pot, etc. for my son who is an exchange student.
I had a lot of luggage.
Make a hotel reservation through Booking.com and take a large taxi (van? Carnival-like) from the airport to the hotel right in front of the hotel for 50 euros.
I went there and the road to the hotel was narrow so the driver went backwards and went in ^^
A regular taxi from Madrid Airport to a city hotel costs around 30 euros.
The staff are friendly, greet each other well, and talk to me well ^^
There wasn’t much to eat for breakfast, but freshly squeezed orange juice, homemade tomato sauce, coffee, yogurt, fruit, and bread were all delicious and average.
It may be personal preference, but I didn’t think it was bad.
I think this is average for all hotels around Sol Square in Madrid.
