Unique Experience in THE BLOSSOM HIBIYA: Best Accommodations of 2023

I recently stayed at The Blossom Hibiya in Shimbashi and I would like to share my review. Despite the limited number of reviews compared to other hotels, my experience was a great success! The superior twin room I booked was slightly larger than the standard business rooms, making it more spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was also spacious and included a bathtub, which I really enjoyed. However, I have to mention that the Tokyo Tower view from my high-floor room was partially blocked by nearby buildings.

The location of the hotel is very convenient. It took me about 30 minutes to reach the hotel from Haneda Airport without any transfers. When I visited Disneyland, it was also easy to access. I walked to Tokyo Station (15-20 minutes) and took the subway to Maihama Station without any transfers. Being in an office town, there were many delicious restaurants nearby, including Sushi Jyamaai and Ichiran, which stay open until late at night. There was also a 24-hour pharmacy (drugstore) nearby, where I could buy drinks, beer, medicine, and cosmetics before heading back home. It was quite convenient not having to carry my luggage around during my travels. The price was reasonable as well.

The hotel is also close to Ginza, just a 12-minute walk away. On my last day, after checking out, I explored Ginza before returning to the hotel to pick up my luggage and head straight to Haneda. I definitely have a strong desire to revisit this hotel.

Please note that the approximate cost I paid for a weekday stay of 3 nights was around 464,000 KRW or 4,300 USD (exchange rate: 1 USD = 108 JPY).

If you’re staying at The Blossom Hibiya in Shimbashi, there are several nearby tourist attractions and activities that I would highly recommend exploring. Despite being in an office town, this area offers a great mix of convenience and cultural experiences.

One of the highlights of staying at The Blossom Hibiya is its proximity to Tokyo Station, which is just a 15-20 minute walk away. From here, you can easily access the rest of Tokyo and its surrounding areas. I would suggest taking a day trip to Nikko, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its stunning shrines and natural beauty. The journey takes approximately two hours by train, but it’s definitely worth it to explore this picturesque town.

Another must-visit destination near the hotel is Ginza, which is just a short 12-minute walk away. This upscale shopping district offers a plethora of high-end boutiques, department stores, and restaurants. It’s the perfect place to indulge in some retail therapy or savor a delicious meal at one of its many eateries.

If you’re a fan of traditional Japanese culture, I would recommend visiting nearby Hama-rikyu Gardens. This beautiful public park, located along the Sumida River, features stunning landscapes, teahouses, and a tidal pond. It’s a tranquil oasis in the heart of Tokyo, offering a peaceful retreat from the bustling city.

For those interested in Japanese history, a trip to the Edo-Tokyo Museum is a must. This museum, located just a short subway ride away from the hotel, offers a comprehensive overview of Tokyo’s history from the Edo period to the present day. It’s a fascinating journey through time and provides insight into the city’s rich cultural heritage.

Lastly, if you’re traveling with family or are a theme park enthusiast, I recommend a visit to Tokyo Disneyland. It is easily accessible from the hotel, with a short walk to Tokyo Station and a direct train ride to Maihama Station. Get ready to immerse yourself in the magic and excitement of this world-renowned theme park.

Overall, staying at The Blossom Hibiya provides great access to various tourist attractions in Tokyo. Whether you’re interested in shopping, history, nature, or theme parks, there’s something for everyone nearby. So make sure to take advantage of the hotel’s convenient location and explore all that this vibrant city has to offer!
